Rectilinear Biphasic Technology

Defibrillators are often marketed with the label "high-energy," but more precisely, it is electric current that is used to shock a heart into a normal rhythm. The high-current ZOLL^® Rectilinear Biphasic™ waveform (RBW) provides more current than any biphasic defibrillator on the market today, even those labelled "high energy." This capability is particularly important for the difficult-to-defibrillate, high-impedance patient. At 200 J, the ZOLL RBW delivers more average current to high-impedance patients than any other biphasic waveform.
